About Us

Gavin and Naisha Erickson, along with Gavin's dad Richard, climbing Mt. Rainier this July for the American Lung Association’s 23rd annual Climb for Clean Air!

This blog is to allow people to follow us on our journey. We want people to be able to see our training progress, link to our fundraising page, and connect to additional climbing sites.

A little of why we are doing it!
The American Lung Assocation is a wonderful cause! In helping us support the American Lung Assocation you will be helping:

*Prevent lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, lung cancer, tuberculosis, and cystic fibrosis. Lung disease is the third leading cause of death by disease in the U.S.!

*Fight against outdoor air pollutants.

*Reduce tobacco use, especially among young people. This is responsible for one in five deaths in the United States each year. It’s a fact that tobacco causes more deaths than cocaine, heroin, alcohol, homicide, suicide, traffic accidents, fires and AIDS, combined.

How we need your help
We each need to raise $3,500 by May 1st. You can donate to our climb by clicking on our fundraiser pages. We need your thoughts and prayers. It will take a lot of rigorous excerise to get in the best shape of our lives. If you are in the area we would love for you to join us on stair climbing endevors or hikes. Let us know!
